Kids Club Report

One of the many reasons we return to the Palladium as many times a year as we can afford, is how wonderful the resort is with children. The 'Racoons' is a short distance away from the white sands buildings, just next to the Colonial Pool. There is a great play area with trampolines, climbing frames, and then a lovely indoor area with crayons, dvd's and fabulous staff. We are there in late September early October as well and cannot wait. As well as our own 12 mt old, and 27 mth old, we will be travelling with close friends that include an 8 mth old, 22 mth old and 3 year old, so you can be sure we will be using the childrens club.
The club is relatively quiet, and there was always lots of staff on, it was even quiet in January when the hotel was at full capacity. We love October at the Palladium as its always really quiet, like your own private resort, and the weather is a good temperature for the children. In January our son was only 3 mths, so we went in the childrens club but one of us stayed, but this time we will definately be leaving them there for a few hours each day. - the staff were so welcoming, with free welcome packs for both children.
We spent a lot of time around the colonial pool near the diving section as this was perfect for toddlers. Key things that I have told my friends to remember:
* use walmart for nappies/diapers rather than your take up your whole suitcase. Walmart is huge and sells all known brands and only 30 mins away
* remember childrens cutlery and plastic cups * portable dvd players - a godsend
* dont buy buckets/spades etc - the childrens club have hundreds you can borrow.
* Mosuito net for stroller if your taking one - the resort has a lot in rainy season, so this is a must!!!
* the cribs are small, any child older than about 14 months will need to go in the bed
You will love the resort, we've been to many other Mexican resorts, and non cater for babies like the Palladium does, Hope this helps
