Wow! That's a big big day of travel! I hope you enjoy your time there. I've never been to Jamaica. I don't know if I'm ready to leave Mexico just yet. Can't wait to read your trip report!!

Countdown is @ 4 days now, leaving cold and rainy Belgium on Saturday March-13 @ 07.05am (GMT+1). Pick-up is @ 03.00am, very early but hey, who cares !!! We have about 10 hours to fly before landing @ Punta Cana where we will be waiting for plane maintenance and crew-switch (90 min.), then on to MoBay where we are supposed to land @ 02.05pm local time (GMT-5). We have private transfer in our package so no waiting for buses to fill up, quickly to GPLH. Can't wait to taste the Rum-Punch that is given to guests on arrival ;-). I will bring a Live-Report as soon as possible, i will have a busy shedule while there ...LOL Hey Anne, i will also post a message when we will be again waving @ Unnoficial from a GP-webcam... ...in Jamaica this time. I ordered a new camera (Kodak PlaySport) to bring along, it is filming in HD 1080p and is waterproof up to 10ft. I wanted to use it for snorkeling images but unfortunatly my "friends" @ Kodak have been moving the release date further up to April so i will not have it untill then. But that gives us a good reason, if we like the GPLH as much as we loved Mexico, to go back next year and do the underwater filming, LOL

Yes, you will enjoy relaxing at Coral Cove. It's a great spot to snorkel from. Also, the swimming at Sunset Cove is quite nice. We went to Negril to spend a little time on the beach. It was a beautiful beach, but too crowded with hotels lined up one after the other - just not our preference. Went to Rick's Cafe, which was fun - a gorgeous spot and great to see the divers. We went on a tour to Mayfield Falls and also kayaking on the Great River (?). Both fun trips, but up treacherous mountain roads! We did ziplining in Costa Rica on a previous trip, so didn't do it in Jamaica, but heard great things. You will love it there!

We will try that out Kern1, thx for the tip. Mostly we will spend our time @ the beach, Coral Cove (Adult Beach) seems to be the perfect spot for us. Beautiful sight, no kids around and great spot for snorkeling i read. Did you do any side trips in Jamaica? If so what did you like. I am thinking to do the St.Elizabeth-Tour including YS-Falls,Black River and Appleton Rum-Factory. Zip-lining seems to be great fun and many people recommend to visit Nine Mile-Beach in Negril (Rick's Cafe).

Single digits...how wonderful! Be sure to relax by the adult pool on the Lady Hamilton side. Turn your lounge chairs around so they face the gorgeous harbor view, and enjoy!! It's very different in Jamaica - so many beautiful views to enjoy.
