GP Colonial vs. IB Lindo

We stayed at the IB Lindo last time and loved it. Thought we might like to try something different this time with the Colonial, but are a bit afraid after being so happy with our last visit. Anybody been to both? Any input would be appreciated!

Good for you. I am sure you will find yourself comparing it to the Lindo,but overall it is an excellent value and offers something for everyone IMHO. In addition,management is outstanding.I am going back in April for my 13th visit so I obviously love the resort and the brand. (12 to Colonial/Kantenah, 1to P jamaica). What are your dates?

Thanks, CCAnne and Threesons. We did decide on the Colonial. Except for the usual few naysayers on tripadvisor, it sounds like everyone loves it. I really appreciate your responses--

Here is another comparison report. I know that Catsfam was a big IB Lindo fan before she tried the P. Note that the Palladium now offers unlimited ala cartes to all guests. http://forum.unofficialpalladium.com/report_detail.php?id=26

Welcome....glad you came to investigate! There may be a number of people ( like me ) who have not been to the Lindo but if you can share some of the things that are important to you in a resort then you may get some great feedback from the many people here who have been to the Palladium many times. This might be really helpful information to you and of course we will all enjoy sharing with you!

Hi Maryscan & welcome to the forum,

I have not been to an IB but I know the architecture is very similar at both resorts. The Palladium has a better beach from what I am told. General feelings are that the P is a better value. Here are some comparison reports. If anyone has anything to add please feel free to post.
